Classifications based on Winning Percentage

A-Gold - 875 and above. A-Silver - 651 - 874
B-Gold - 476 - 650 or 801 and above for League/Allstars B-Silver - 301 - 475 or 601 -800 for League/Allstars
B- Bronze - 151 - 300 or 401 - 600 for League/Allstars B-Copper - 150 or below or 400 and below League/Allstars Our Classifications are primarily based on winning percentage. However we also look at numbers of runs scored, runs allowed, and the teams you play, so we may move teams to a different classification based on this information. The classification you are in does not mean you are classified the same with other Organizations. Our Classifications are created in order to create the highest level of competition possible.
We realize you may be in a higher or lower classification during your 1st few Tournaments with GSA. But we guarantee that if you play in numerous Tournaments with GSA, that you will be playing teams within your classification. Our number one goal is to have teams playing in Tournaments that are so competitive that any team in the Tournament will be capable of winning the Tournament. We keep a record of your wins, losses, runs scored, runs allowed, and points from each Tournament you play with GSA. We then take those records and try our best at placing teams in a classification to where we feel they would be the most ompetitive with other teams in that classification. We monitor this closely, and if we feel a team needs to be in a different classification, we make that adjustment, and we keep making adjustments until we get the rankings as close to perfect as we can get them. We want your team to come play in a Tournament where any team in that Tournament is capable of winning that particular Tournament. In order for us to accomplish this, we need your support. The more teams we have playing, and giving us the chance at grouping competitive teams together, the better job we can do at placing teams in the classification where they are the most competitive. All we ask is your support and we will make this happen.
From now on, the GSA Rankings will begin on August 1 and run through July 31 of the next Year. We have spent a lot of time creating what we believe is the best ranking system there is. Our unique ranking system does a great job of placing teams in classifications where they are the most competitive. We will continue to work on our rankings, so that your team plays against other teams of your same caliber. You have our promise, that if you come support GSA, we will do our part in placing your team against other Teams of your same caliber.
Below is a starting point for placing teams in GSA classifications. This will vary as teams play more tournaments and as the teams play more in the classification where they belong. Keep in mind, that winning percentage is not the only thing that we take into consideration when placing teams in classifications We also consider runs scored, runs allowed, and the level of teams your team is playing. It's hard to place teams in the correct classification when they only play 1 or 2 Tournaments,
but we guarantee you, that by the time you play your 3rd Tournament, using the technology we have with our unique rankings system, we will have you in a classification with teams of your same caliber. Below is a guideline based on winning percentage, for placing teams in classifications. However, this may vary depending on a lot of circumstances.
A-Gold - 875 and above. A-Silver - 651 - 874
B-Gold - 476 - 650 or 801 and above for League/Allstars B-Silver - 301 - 475 or 601 -800 for League/Allstars
